This newly developed Auto Shackle is specialized for use on tender boats to unload fish. It can hold ropes properly while using Auto Shackle mechanism - “quick release” and “secure rigging” . This is strong enough, yet compact and easy to handle on the boats even on rough seas. This Tender Auto Shackle is well combined with the Snap Hook Type C.

By combining Auto Shackle mechanism with a hook on back side, it simplifies process of connecting and releasing ropes. (A) Gate with Auto Shackle mechanism which enables “quick release” and “secure rigging”. (B) Hook on back side can hold up to 1 ton as a WLL. (C) Ears on on both sides to link ropes.

The gate can be released by attaching a rope to the main body and pulling it. Or it can be also opened by pushing the rope hole with a finger. The knurls on the rope hole help prevent slipping. On the other hand, the opened gate can be easily and securely closed by hand.

If the performance of the spring deteriorates due to certain factors such as aging, it can be replaced with a new one by removing the socket head screw at the top of the Tender Auto Shackle using a hexagon wrench.
